The Miami New Media Festival turns 10 with 33 multimedia artists from 15 countries
Miami, Fl.- On October 8th, the Miami New Media Festival will start its 10th edition at the Perez Art Museum (PAMM). Thirty three local and international artists from 15 countries will present videoart, performances, sound art and new digital media artworks.
Artists selected for this festival are from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Ireland, Mexico, USA, UK, and Venezuela.
After the opening night at PAMM, the festival will continue its presentations other conventional and unconventional spaces in Miami.
Since 2006, the Miami New Media Festival has presented 210 artists, more than 430 videos, presentations, 3D digital artworks, public art, as well as live and online performances, promoting connections between artists and institutions from around the world.
This festival has been created by Arts Connection Founder, Nina Fuentes, and is coordinated by Maria Luisa -Mauisa Parada, Director of the foundation.
The MNMF 2016 has the support of the Miami Dade County Cultural Affairs, VIOSS Vision, the Miami Theatre Center, Vice City Bean, Power2Voice, The Gatos Media, and IMAGO Art in Action.
