(sub)Urban Projections champions emerging artists, cultivates community, and celebrates the spirit of Eugene through a digital art, video, and media festival in back alleys and on public walls of downtown.

A free, multi-part festival scheduled for November 9th, 16th, and 23rd from 6-9:30pm each night, (sub)Urban Projections will create a vibrant, colorful environment fostering conversation and ap…preciation for contemporary art. Through projected video and media by artists from the Pacific Northwest and beyond, streets and alleys will be illuminated and the downtown landscape transformed, creating an inviting atmosphere for people to gather and support local business, art, and culture on mid-week winter nights.

(sub)Urban Projections will include live audio/visual projection multimedia performance works by featured artists Jon Bellona, Kevin Patton, and John Park. We will also be presenting a 70-minute program of video submissions from around the world, from which we have selected several for inclusion in the festival. Selected videos come from Germany, France, the UK, Mexico, and Canada, and well as New York, Connecticut, Phoenix, Seattle, Portland, and right here in Eugene!
